tumes, and I have travelled to both York, PA and Secaucus, NJ to begin the  process of selecting costumes for our students.  We are hoping to have a special event to unveil all of the recital costume selections to everyone later in the season.

Enclosed you will also find an order form for studio logo sportswear items.  Samples of several of the newer items will be available very soon.  All of the items are great quality and very comfortable., and they make great holiday gifts!

As we progress through the year, please feel free to approach any of us if you have questions or concerns.  We would also like to thank everyone for your continued support and cooperation.  It is really wonderful working with so many great people.  We are very excited about this season, and we appreciate that you have entrusted your child’s dance education to us!

~ Amy Belcher

Hi everyone!  First, I would like to apologize for the long delay in communication.  For those of you who are new to the studio, it is very unusual for me to go this long without a newsletter.  I will be doing my best to close the gap in the future.

Since I have not had the opportunity to officially do so, I would like to welcome everyone for our 7th season at the studio.  This year marks our largest enrollment with 140 students participating in our programs.  We are very excited about having so many new faces in the studio, and we hope that all of you are enjoying the season with us so far.  As always, there are a number of exciting things in the works for the year ahead, and we hope that everyone will participate in many of these events.

We will again do our best to try to make this newsletter a monthly publication.  For immediate an

nouncements, we have the automated phone system that will call everyone as well as the “announcement” option on our studio phone system.  To access this option, simply call the studio number and listen for the appropriate prompt.  You will then hear any current announcements for the week.  We also have a Facebook page that lists important reminders and notices throughout the year.  We are even going to do a fun Facebook contest for everyone this month so read on for more information about that.

As we approach the holiday season, we will participate in the Santa Parade in Scranton, and we will have our Annual Christmas Performance at Mellow Theater.  We have also obtained our Annual Recital dates and set the times of those performances.

We have already started to measure the children for their recital cos

As some of you already know, the studio has a Facebook page.  This page is often used to notify parents and students of important information throughout the year as well as a place to talk about some things that are going on and share pictures.  If you have not already done so, we ask that you “like” us on Facebook.  In order to kick off the season, we are going to have a Facebook contest.  To enter, post a picture of your child in either a dance costume or dance clothes with you in the photo and tell us what you love most about our school.  One winner will be selected to receive a $25 credit on their studio account and a studio sweatshirt for your child.  Good Luck!!

Recital DVDs are FINALLY ready

The DVDs from last season’s recitals are ready and can be picked up at the desk at the studio.  If you are new to the studio and you would like a copy of the show, please ask Amy and she will be happy to get one for you.  Also, if your child is interested in seeing the show that they did not perform in, we can make that happen too.  It is always good motivation for the kids to see the recitals so we are happy to distribute copies to anyone who would like them.
